Compass Chiropractic is registered with SIRA to take care of injuries sustained through your work. Often injuries at work will include musculoskeletal injuries, affecting muscles, ligaments and joints, of which Chiropractors are specially trained to treat.

We will communicate with your case manager, your employer’s insurance company, your employer and any of your other health professionals to ensure that you receive the best care possible. We aim to help you get better and back to work as soon as possible through our Chiropractic treatments and rehabilitative recommendations.

Whiplash or neck injury, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back injury or strain, shoulder sprains and elbow, wrist or hand issues. These may have been caused by accidental trauma or daily work activities contributing to a wear and tear injury.

When seeing a Chiropractor for a specific complaint, we will work with you to determine the root cause of the pain through history taking and a thorough examination process. Once the problem has been determined, we will create a treatment plan to help in your return to work.

The approval of chiropractic sessions is required by your nominated treating doctor before seeing a Chiropractor. If you are unsure whether you have approval to see the allied health professional, you should enquire your treating doctor first. Once you are approved for treatment with the Workers Compensation scheme, they will pay for all of your chiropractic treatment costs. The payment process will be sorted between the chiropractor and the insurance company so you have nothing to worry about.
